This is an Estonian lace rectangular shawl made of a blend of wool and mohair in lace weight.  Czech gold glass beads were incorporated into the design along the center of each leaf motif.

The Remembrance Capelet was knit in the round using a slipped stitch pattern.

Inspired by the ribbon lace stitch pattern, this wrap reminds me of waves of water.  Made in baby alpaca lace weight yarn.

Three seed beads were added to each lace point during the bind off.

Beads were incorporated throughout this shawl.  It can be worn in the traditional manner as a shawl wrapped across the shoulders or can be turned around and worn with the triangular point in the front for a more modern look.

Made with left over yarn, this project was a true stash buster.  All are worsted weight 100% wool.

Closeup view of the New Year's Shawl showing the beads in a single leaf motif.  Beads were pre-strung onto the yarn prior to knitting and "dropped" at the appropriate stitch to form the spines of each leaf motif.  The gold beads added a subtle hint of color to this otherwise plain shawl.

When insects got into my navy 100% wool yarn and destroyed several skeins of yarn, I sought complimentary colors to complete this simple pullover.  When worn, the stripes on the sleeves align with the stripes on the body of the sweater.
