I used a self-patterning baby yarn in Sport weight in combination with a simple eyelet rib stitch pattern.

Blankets are no longer recommended in cribs, especially for very small infants.  This sleep sack and matching hat helps to keep your baby warm and cozy without the choking hazard of a traditional blanket.

The hat was knit in the same yarn with a modification of the stitch pattern used for the sleep sack to give a unified look despite the difference in scale.
